HP printers - Printed photos are cropped incorrectly (Android)

When printing a photo from Android, the edges of the photo are not cropped correctly. Use the HP Print Service Plugin or the HP Smart app to the print the photo again.

HP Print Service Plugin

Print a photo from the HP Print Service Plugin to fix incorrect cropping.

  1. On your Android device, choose the photo you want to print.

  2. Tap the Share icon.

  3. In the Share to Apps section, tap More.

  4. Tap HP Print Service Plugin.

    If you do not have the HP Print Service Plugin, download it from the Google Play Store (in English).
  5. Tap your printer.

  6. Tap More Options or Layout to adjust the fit, fill, and layout settings.

  7. Tap the Print icon in the upper-right corner to print the photo.

HP Smart app

Print a photo from the HP Smart app to fix incorrect cropping.

  1. In the HP Smart app, tap the Print Photos tile.

  2. Choose the photo you want to print, and then tap the Print icon .

  3. In More Options, adjust any print settings.

  4. Tap the Print icon  in the upper-right corner to print the photo.
